You did the right thing by going to Urgent Care. I'm happy to hear your confusion was caused (presumably) by the early morning call from your mother, rather than something more serious.

I enjoy your sense of humor on TD. I'm certain it'll come in handy when have to face your office staff tomorrow!

I told the doctor that I thought that was the cause. Before I went I was at the bathroom mirror seeing if my face was symmetrical; I could raise both arms; could speak; etc. I was so stunned when I heard it was Tuesday, I thought that I must have had a stroke.

Thanks, I am of the opinion that a sense of humor is a necessary ingredient in life.

this is a damn funny story...and makes me feel a lot better...

one day several years back, I woke up to realize that my alarm had not gone off and I had somehow slept until 2 PM...I jumped out of bed and smashed through a shower and cup of coffee...texted the ladies at work apologizing profusely for being late and telling them that I was on my way...I grabbed all of my shite and literally ran out of the door to head to work...

as I opened the door, it totally freaked me out to see that it was still completely dark outside at what I thought was 3 in the afternoon...literally took me about ten minutes to figure out what the hell was going on and that I had done all of this at 3 AM....

I stayed confused and disturbed about the whole event for about a week...

this was nearly ten years ago and I still get fricked with about it at work every once in a while...I guess everyone will get a final laugh over it when I retire...

It's going to be rough for awhile, but he's doing well. I'm whooped like a dog, though!

that is the strange thing...I was in an apartment that had a few windows on the front wall with blackout curtains and blinds...there was a streetlight outside that lit that side of the building up pretty well and the light that you could see around the curtains looked just like daylight...
