Oil field layoffs are really hitting SLa

I've read several threads with posters poking fun at these guys losing their jobs. Today My business brough me to Halliburton in New Iberia and I can't express how terrible it is to see these people getting laid off. If things don't pick up I'm afraid that the ppl of Acadiana are about to see some very shitty times. If any are on here, prayers and good luck to you and your families.

Here comes the Stouts of the world that make $15 an hour to come laugh at the people getting laid off and say "good!"

I work IT in the oil/gas pipeline construction industry. We are okay for now. My wife's uncle is in the Oil fields and he says it's bad...layoffs left and right. We are out in Acadiana. I hope it picks up soon.

Stout gets paid to jerk off, from his house.
He wins.

How's' the f250 market?
If I can pick up some cheap in LA and bring them back to FL I may be able to help folks in both States?

It't not just oil field in Acadiana... All these guys losing their jobs means people aren't going out to eat or spending money on luxuries. A lot of small restaurant and family businesses are closing too.

Yep, pretty bad. People on here joke about the oilfield F250s etc etc. but it's a local industry that effects everything and everyone.

I just made it through the first round of layoffs at my company here in BR. I've been laid off before. Ruined my life.
I am a lucky man that I don't have to wonder where my kids' next meal comes from.
Solidarity to anyone laid off. It gets better.
