Hot water of course.

How are the pots positioned? If they are face down in a strainer, like someone rinsed them out and put them there that way to dry, I'd just let er rip. If they were face up, or looked a little iffy, I'd just swish around with hot water.
Fortunately, I make my coffee at home and bring it in so I don't have to worry about this.

Our office is not poor. We have a Keurig
we have two different kinds of keurig machines, I don't think they make a good cup of coffee personally. I'm pretty much the only one who drinks out of the normal pot anymore though so I just eyeball a half pot every morning and just let it add to whatever is left over from yesterday.

I would just have one of my girls take care of it.

I make my own coffee at home so don't ever deal with this.

The douchers around here like to leave about a 1/4 inch of coffee in the bottom of both pots instead of making a new one.

As if they were taken off the warmer and left in the sink- sometimes with some water in them, and sometimes just left for the last little bit of coffee to dry in the bottom.

Cleaning crew comes and makes the coffee during the day and picks up the coffee mugs from our office. We don't even have to return anything to the kitchen.

Bring a thermos from home and leave the kitchen to the pigs.

Cleaning crew
Which brings up another question. Does your crew come in after hours for cleaning, do it during the day, or some combo of both?
We have the crew come around and empty trash cans after hours. But the Bathroom crew does it during the day. I've been in there dropping a deuce before and the old man shuffles in adding paper towels by the sink and replacing TP in the stalls, and running a mop over the floors. I just yell at him to toss me a roll under the door and I'll put it on.
But our kitchen cleaning crew must absolutely suck. They only mop up around once a week. I've seen the same dust bunnies for days on end. I think they must do it on Fridays only. Seems like they could hit it on Tuesdays as well.

How about the fricker who leaves just a tiny amount in the bottom of the pot with the burner on so he/she doesn't have to go through the 45 second task of making another pot? And then the coffee burns inside the pot, screwing up the pot and leaving a terrible smell throughout the kitchen.

D) Wash the pot with soap, then make just enough coffee for you
