Headed down to visit the WTC Memorial today and wanted to grab lunch nearby. A rooftop or nice view would be preferred. Something non-touristy if at all possible.

TIA

Sarabeths is nice for brunch/lunch. I suggest getting away from the WTC and go eat a little more north from there.

God I love New York. The modern day speakeasies that were introduced to me have taken that city to a while new level for me.

Another friend suggested Sarabeths. Does the Tribeca location have a view? I can't tell from the website.

No it's a 1 story place but it's a pretty area in general.

Merchant River House. Great views of the Hudson and you can walk by North Cove Harbor.

Listen to MS. He is the one who now has me addicted to New York.

Not to mention, sarabath's is good but it's not going to blow your mind or anything. Brunch is pretty hard to screw up but you rarely are blown away by it.

Sarabeth doesn't have view. Outside dining though.

If you want to see something cool then walk into the WTC path station and go down the escalators. The path is closed on weekends but you can get in the station. Walk down the corridor at the bottom of the escalator and go through the double doors. This leads through the new walkthrough that goes under the Westside Hwy. Go down the walkthrough and then take the escalators back up to the World Financial Center. You will see a bunch of palm trees inside. Walk outside and you will see the yachts. Follow the walkway to the right along the river and you will reach Merchant House. The whole Hudson walkway is very nice. Used to live in one of the buildings on the water.

ETA: Let me know if you see TATS in the harbor. By far my favorite boat.

Merchant River House it is. Reservation for 3pm. I'll let you know if I see your boat there.

Thanks again
