Do you think any school in Louisana could pull this off? No. Look at the facilities, diversity, and all high scores and great extracurricular activities. Forget talk of Jesuit vs Ben Franklin, Catholic vs BRMHS, LSMSA and all that jazz. Other states are miles ahead.

a brief review of the grammar used on this site would lead one to conclude that La.'s education is deplorable. If that isn't evidence enough, listen to most any student being interviewed. It will depress you.

Ben Franklin is nationally regarded, homey.

Seeing the schools in Denver metro area and in Utah make me realize how shitty the education system is in Louisiana. I took my wife to Lafayette High School a few years ago, and she said it was the most depressing prison-like building she'd ever been to.

I live in Douglas County which is one of the highest rated public school districts in the country, but the facilities are worlds above anything I've seen in Louisiana. Even the predominately minority East High school in Denver is worlds ahead of Louisiana.

Pretty disturbing, actually. A bunch of teens lipsyncing to girly pop songs in their school hallways...something that is okay for "chicks" to do I suppose, but there are an equal number of dudes doing it as well. The wussification of the American male continues. Shame on Generation Y...

Why? Are you saying public schools in other states are better than Jesuit, Ben Franklin, and CHS?

We all know public schools here suck donkey.
