I don't get it.

Donald must be David's cisgendered shitlord's brother that takes advantage of poor prostitutes as well.

Letting people learn from their mistakes is good. Your correlation with bullying is a weak point, though.

what does this have to do with anything? Meaning you aren't from Louisiana?

You do realize a vast majority of the people in La don't carry 'cajun' heritage right?

You just triggered me!

I agree with everything in this post. But some companies can't afford to have employees make mistakes. Even if it's under pressure. For instance, working on an alkylation unit, you're dealing with HF acid. Which I believe if it's over 5 ppm, it will kill you instantly. If an employee is under pressure and slips up, you're talking about a hazard that can kill people in a 20 mile radius. That's an absolute worst case scenario, but it's not impossible. While I agree that accidents do happen, you just have to do your best not to frick up. Just have to be conscious about what you're doing at all times. And you should always question how things can go wrong. Run through scenarios in your head so that if the time comes, you know what to do.
Of course if it's just a harmless mistake and the employee isn't known for messing up often, let it just be a lesson learned. If they know what they did wrong, let it be.
