Nostalgia thread - what are some of the things you remember good and bad.

Not sure what go me thinking along these lines, but here are a few:
- Days before self opening sliding doors (and when they first were introduced they were activated via sensors on a rubber pad you stepped on).
- Pinball machines and arcades.
- Riding your bicycle to the swimming pool.
- Money Hill Campground, Pontchartrain Beach & Thunderbird Beach.

Good:
Punahou carnival (school in Hawaii, carnival had a full midway and the best Malasadas (Portuguese donuts) you'll ever have)
Basically everything about being a kid living in Hawaii
Bad:
Neighbor's son that we all looked up to was killed in Vietnam.
