I haven't ever paid them. Easily in the thousands now. I've been pulled over many times after not paying them. No worries

The City can't report you to any credit reporting agency and if they do a nice class action lawsuit against the City and the company administering this ticket taking scam would provide very lucrative results.

The reason they can't hit your credit report is that they don't know who was driving the car.

I agree but I wasn't sure if the city worried about such niceties. nola wipes it's arse with court judgments. Good luck collecting.

Nola is so messed up. Lafayette is doing it right. $25. I mean, $25? It's easier for me to just pay $25 than to worries about what may or may not happen. If I got a camera ticket for $280? frick that noise!

Well this is the same city that's trying to tax balconies bc they occupy city airspace, so nothing should surprise us

There are all kinds of loopholes to escape a photo radar violation in Arizona, here is the photo radar enforcement policy here:

quote:

Ignoring a Notice of Violation Can Result in Your Case Being Dismissed
By law, after a ticket is filed in court, a municipality has 90 days to nail you. The first thing a city will do is to mail you a notice of violation, asking you to sign and return a waiver (along with, ideally, a check to cover your fine).

No muss, no fuss. But no teeth, either: You have no legal obligation to sign the waiver. That's because state law requires that a ticket must be delivered in person in order to stick.

If you don't sign the waiver, a process server might come to your home.

If the process server catches you at home, you'll pay $25 to $40 on top of the fine. But it's a decent wager to make. Because if you manage to dodge the server, the ticket will disappear from the system 90 days after it went in.

Step up to my level then baw.

You still have room to step up. My baw is light years ahead of you.

He lives downtown and keeps one of these in his car

You should see his collection of yellows at home.
