This. It's important to dissolve not chew. Also go as long as you can without eating or drinking afterward. The zinc slows down viral reproduction and gives you immune system a head start.

IMO, most people who think they have a cold are just dealing with seasonal allergies resulting in sinus congestion and drip

Emergen C doesn't do shite and vitamin c in general doesn't help colds contrary to popular belief

Saline nasal spray. First sign of sniffles, I start hitting it like a cocaine addict. If it doesn't stave it completely off, it definitely limits the severity and duration of it for sure.

That's not a cold. It's an allergy.

Claritin (get generic Loratidine), 1 tablet every 18 hrs. Make sure it's the 24 hour kind.

If your nose is running. Claritin D (again, 24 hour)

If you start coughing, add the Mucinex tablet with Dextromethorphine. And drink plenty of water.

I do this and coldeze. One of them I use is a nasal spray the other a lozenge. I hope im lucky enough to not have to do it again this year.

Neither does zinc, for the most part. Most of the remedies that are touted for the common cold don't do anything or at the most have just a minimal benefit. Symptomatic treatment is still the mainstay.
