people waste a lot of money on teenagers, at least this is kinda cool and a bonding experience for a father and son. I see no problem with this, this will give them stories to tell down the road and theyll get more chances to bond when this thing breaks down and they have to fix it together.

I blew my money on a car stereo system that could be heard from space. And I learned from it.
At least this will give him a project to work on too. He'll get to learn about cars by working on it and learn about smart investments.
Not sure why people are giving him a hard time. Pretty fun purchase for a high school kid and I'm sure that thing is safe as hell. Its a damn tank.
