Need to get a nicotine test done in BR and was wondering what's the most convenient and swift occupational medical clinic? I don't put in horseshoes like you baws do so I'm getting an insurance discount.

This sounds trashy
But id call urgent care, they do other drug screenings, might do this.

What kinds of nicotine are you wanting to test?

If your insurance company wants a blood test then they should arrange one for you.

For a life insurance policy, usually.
Had one done a little more than a year ago myself.

The insurance company should have scheduled a test for you. They will usually send someone to your house for blood and nicotine tests

Our health insurance required a nicotine screen and my doctor ordered one with my annual physical blood work. Decided to up my life insurance at the same time and the insurance company sent someone for the screen. Depends on what it's for I guess.

How long do you have to not smoke to pass?

What happens if you're on nicotine replacement therapy? Did they just assume you are a smoker?

[quote]In blood: When you smoke a cigarette, 1 mg of nicotine enters your blood. The nicotine will totally be gone within 1-3 days after your last using tobacco.
In urine: The urine test normally can detect nicotine level within 3-4 days after the last time you use tobacco. However, if you often smoke or you are passive smokers, nicotine can stay for a period of 15 to 20 days in urine. After this period, no traces of toxic can be found in your urine.
In saliva: Nicotine stays in your saliva up to 4 days.
In hair: nicotine can stay in hair for months instead of for days. It is more surprised that many hair tests can detect nicotine for up to a year. However, nicotine is normally found within 1-3 months after you stop smoking
Just shave your head.

Eta: Just saw it was for insurance. I've never been tested for nicotine. Maybe they figure I'm ratchet

I think contine, a metabolite of nicotine, (which is what they actually test for) stays in your urine around a month.
