I wonder if his vault of music videos ever gets released?

Prince hired Kevin Smith to film a documentary for him. You get an insight into Prince's unique "little" world.

I read that it could possibly contain over 1,000 hours of music and would be worth around $200,000,000 based on his average sales numbers. It will be released.

Yes, someone posted this in the original Prince thread and I watched it prior to any details about his death.

Very revealing, along w being very humorous.

Prince was a perfectionist. Any music that he didn't release is incomplete demos, I would imagine. I hate when they start releasing music after someone dies. If Prince wanted people to hear it, he would have released it himself. The dude has a pretty sizable catalog to keep most of his fans happy, I would think.

Watch the video. He said that he commissioned the production of 50 music videos, fully produced, costumes, sets, that he just decided to store away. Just because.

Prince already released 39 studio albums in 35 years of being a signed artist. Sounds like he could have done at least 4 more if he wanted to. His musical talents were one thing, but his unbelievable creativity set him apart from a lot of others.

I'm not really a Kevin Smith or Prince fan, but I listened to this on my way to work this morning and thought it was very funny. Especially the part where he finds out that Prince shopped in the Boys section at Nordstrom's.

If you're a huge fan of Prince, it isn't the most flattering view of him. He certainly wasn't a fan of common courtesy with Kevin Smith and sounded maddening to deal with. Anyway, if you have nothing to listen to on the way home from work, listen to the link for a few laughs.

He really isn't. I can listen to about 3 minutes of him. Zero minutes if Captain H is with him.

Kind of like a savings account for someone else.

And a very solid business plan. I wouldn't be surprised if Prince's estate releases tracks for several years, similar to that of Tupac's estate.

I disagree. Vulgar and not really funny.

Normally,I'd agree, but this clip was entertaining and a rare glimpse into Prince's bizarre life.

I saw something on tv this weekend that talked about this. I'm interested to see if they will be released.
