I suspect there are two options for him: (1) he is thrown out of the bar or (2) he gets thrown in jail when the cops do show up.

I've been sitting in NOLA brewery before when NOPD responded to a noise complaint 10 hours prior.

Took 1 minute

Sounds like the NOPD just found a dead body in Vehicle on isolated area of Chef Hwy. Must have been from the shooting that took place over that way several hours ago. Now they are saying its a Homicide so add another one thanks to Andrew Jackson.

I will say it makes seeing all the lights passing through the city more interesting.

Saw the blue lights on Elysian Fields and also going down Canal

Also an update....Lee is still down.

I've been working all night and listening to this which has made the night go by quick as well. Almost finished with two major projects and have five more to go.

I'll say this I don't know what area of the city is more dangerous New Orleans East or the French Quarter after listening to this tonight. Several shooting incidents in the Quarter tonight.

The vast majority of calls like that, you'll hear the unit call in a "NAT" (necessary action taken) or "GOA" (gone on arrival).

What you need to listen for is how many Code 2s get downgraded to a Code 1. You'll typically hear a supervisor (unit ending in zero) ask for the comments, and then make it a Code 1.

A lot of times it's appropriate, as all burglar alarms come in as Code 2 and you'd have units running from house to house all day long if they stayed that way. The supervisor will tell dispatch that unless it's a silent panic alarm or there's a caller inside the house to make it Code 1.

Recently, they've been downgrading a lot of other things. A few weeks ago in the 7th, a 94 (shots fired) came in from an apartment complex, and the apartment manager where it occurred had the subject detained in the front office. The supervisor made it a Code 1 and had dispatch call back to tell the manager to call 911 again "if the subject becomes irate."

Seems very reasonable to me to wait eight hours until the NOPD stops by. I'm sure the suspect will be asleep on the couch waiting for the NOPD to arrive.

Rainy nights mean it will be dark outside which also means there will be congregations of different ant piles in the same areas looking to kill each other.

The one that was sad was the 9 year old girl who was walking around naked on the street because she couldn't stay with her abusive parents anymore. Heart wrenching.

Family Dollar & Dollar General be ready because every nights a Family quick Dollar night.

I always just assumed a New Orleans police scanner would be nonstop bounce music.
