New Orleans Makes Another Top 5 List

Figured I would mix things up a little with this one
LINK
In before donkey punch, thugs, statues, and sure visiting is nice, but nobody would live there.
And on a serious note, I think the regional tourist who come in for the weekend is aware of the increasing press of the latest violence against tourist and are not coming as much recently.
Hopefully things turnaround before it starts making a real dent in numbers.

I just saw another list that has Louisiana as the most dangerous state in the country.

I did the opposite and brought my wife for a stay at the Maison Dupuy the weekend before last and we (gasp) hung out on Bourbon for a few hours.
I don't care much for Bourbon, but wanted support the businesses in what little way I could

If the city begins to lose money, they will start looking at fixing the problem.

Maybe.
I think Mitch is too stupid to realize it is happening even if presented with the numbers.
I'm a little surprised we haven't heard more rumblings from business leaders and the tourism officials about the recent incidents

It won't stay in the top 5 if they don't do something about the uptick in crime in the French Quarter.
