Huge crowds, bigger than I can remember. it's really one of the top 3 nights in the city if you do the night right (i.e. - wear a costume, find a party, people watch, etc). then, waking up Saturday the city seemed to still be buzzing…Uptown was slammed everywhere, FQ a mad house…Saints finally winning a road game Thursday night I think created the perfect storm for the weekend.

cabs were a joke as always…had to stay at molly's from 2am to 4am because we couldn't get a cab…finally at 4 we just asked the girl next to us how she was getting home and her mom was picking up her…they drove us 2 miles as it was on the way and we walked the final quarter mile. it was also miserable cold

how was your experience?

It was good. Got a little rowdy. Overpaid for a cab. The usual. All in all a good night.

Out of the city for the time being, in Chicago where there were insane winds and freezing weather all Friday. But you did remind me that getting a cab/uber here is no sweat so at least there's that.

See my post on the food board. Crowds were crazy. Big Sam posted this today. He says it was taken around 4:30 am.

I actually had two awesome cab drivers this weekend. Went to Monsters of Funk at Howlin Wolf Saturday- awesome show. Felt like death yesterday.

that looks miserable. I'm all for a party, but Frenchmen on Halloween is just stupid.

I left that area around 1030 or 11. It was too much. I went to a gay bar.

That looks miserable.

Being in a crowd so thick you cant move isnt my idea of a good time.

But maybe its just my agoraphobia.

I don't even stand in the pit at concerts, why would I do it at a party?
