New Orleans airport was a great experience. I read on tigerdroppings for weeks prior to Wednesday - day before Thanksgiving - where posters painted a truly horrid picture. I watched the news stations interview the end of the world at MSY.

So, I got to the airport at 12:30 for a 2:30 flight. I parked in short term parking - where it was a 3 minute walk to check your bags in. Then it was another 3 minute walk to security where we went straight through and sitting at the gate in less than 15 minutes total. We then toured the Concourses and viewed the 40 options for lunch and decided to have a good meal.

It was a absolute great experience. No traffic. No lines. No baggage issues. The new airport is amazing and truly a destination airport.

Ha

There are a few posters lying their asses off because they had an agenda.

The airport is getting rave reviews. Don’t listen to these morons and trolls.

Everyone on TD has been saying for weeks what a success it's been, to the dismay of a lot of people who were so upset they didn't have a good reason to be shitting on the airport and city. How well it's been going triggered a bunch of douchebags

People from Louisiana are melodramatic and like to complain? Shocker.

This is TD.

99% of those slamming the new airport have probably never been inside it.

Thanks for posting, Mitch.

The airport isn't bad at all, it just needs some tweaking (which is to be expected from such an endeavor as a whole new airport).

If they can ever get a fly-over done and make a separate entrance/exit for pick-ups/arrivals then it will get a whoooooole lot better.

Yes

Now, do you think they need a 100 million dollar interstate exit, or are the existing roads sufficient?

White people like to over exaggerate everything. It’s like when a white personal gets offended for a minority when in reality the minority doesn’t care.

The only people who hate the new airport are the local news stations and a select few locals who think the old terminal was good.

What's the best time of year to plan a destination airport vacation?
