Do you know how to build Decent street near Nola? It's absurdly expensive with the overexcavation required, then using base materials shipped in from Mexico or dredged from the Mississippi.
Throw in plenty of mediocre contractors with minimal experience, and you have what you have.

I'm surprised the black population in the city is actually rising, given pretty much 100 percent of new construction / renovations are on the high end of the price scale.

I haven't seen any more blacks than normal in the burbs. Hispanics are all over Kenna-bruh and in the shitty apartments of Metairie
