everything i see and read is that none of these cooling foams are worth a shite.

i'm not talking about that passive cooling crap

i'm talking about a pad that circulates cool air through it

I've thrown my hands in the air. We had an IComfort, it sagged and got rid of it. So we thought tempurpedic is the best and we bought one 2 years ago. $4000 one. My husband and I both have neck, shoulder pain and lower back pain.

I think it's because you sleep on one side for so long and don't turn as much? We don't know what mattress is the best. We are both in great shape and early 40's.

I'm very interested in this mattress now.

There's way to many to choose from. This will take me over a month.

That looks nice.

I bought a comforpedic about a year ago this one and the cool gel works great. I hated that my old temperpedic got hot, but I have slept great on this thing, and it has been worth every penny.

I have the the prodigy in a guest room. after a while there was an indentation in the middle where people sleep and it bothers everyones hips. I bought the medium firm iseries for my master bedroom. its awesome. its a memory foam and spring hybrid. it helped my certain to come buyers remorse in choosing between a memory foam or spring - you get both. trust me get the iseries

what are you looking for? pillow top or firm?

on a scale of 1-10 (1 being hard, 10 being soft)

Don't go cheap when it comes to shoes and mattresses. Because if you're not in one, you're in the other.

I've been eyeing the Sleep Innovations memory foam ones pretty hard. I was actually going to start a thread on this a night or two ago. The hangup I'm having is that I keep reading about their durability being not so great. How often is the one in your guest room used, and do you have any reason to believe that it's less durable than your fancy one?

Wholesale Mattress and Factory on Florida Blvd. Get over the shadyness and have them build you a "top of the line" and be done.

I fought the place because it looks line a dump, but after being disappointed with name brand shite I am glad I gave in. The most comfortable mattress ever. And made to fuxking last.

Just call the "old man" and talk to him to get a feel for how much that bastard knows about mattresses.

I guess about a 4

The reason I thought I would enjoy the prodigy was because it was about 3/4 to the firm but still had some softness to it.

I just got this one saturday. so far it is great. maybe a little more firm(on the softest setting) than I expected but still working very good, especially for the price.

If you do your research on memory foam mattresses, you will find that more expensive does not equal better a lot of the time.
