In the Baton Rouge area. Looking at putting some new countertops in the kitchen. Where is the best place to get that done? It is an all in one thing where you pick it out, they measure, cut, and install?

We got ours from Grabince off airline. They let my wife go to a couple wholesalers yards and pick out the granite she wanted.

I'm guessing granite? Is that what most people are putting. Currently have floor tiles for countertops. Hate it. Want to go to something smooth and easy to clean with no grout.

Menzie's

Used them for 2 countertops in new houses I have built. Damn good job on both!

I cheaped out and had mine done by Home Depot. Quartz countertops. They did the entire tear out, haul away, and install for a pretty good price.

Went with quartz because it isn't as easy to damage as granite (kids like to beat on shite) and it's computer generated pigment so if I ever needed to replace a section or wanted something else done in same color, I can get it done.

Select Stone in Industriplex. Huge warehouse, and usually has a nice section of discounted stone.

Why? I've used assured on many new construction and remodel projects and can't find one bad thing to say about them in my experience. Any issue I've ever had it was taken care of no matter the cost on their end.

So far I've had the best quote from Grabnice. 3 month wait but not in a rush. Anyone have experience with them or know people who have? Google only has 3 reviews. 2 negatives with comments and 1 positive with no comments.

Did you get quotes from other sources?

That's what you think. I started to get a quote from them. Gave them the dimensions and specs on what I wanted. When they tried to schedule a measurement appointment for me, they gave me a ballpark figure that was 50% over my next highest estimate.
