I see it everyday in my part of the country which is Southwest Texas. Square toe boots are worn by many cowboys/ranch hands. If they are on horseback not so much because of the saddle stirrups. They even wear cowboys hats with square toe boots. Can you believe it?

I think people should wear what they want. I don't personally care for them on nice boots, but to each his own.

i work in Gatesville, Texas...Coryell county...Spur Capital of Texas. place is filled with real cowboys who do real cowboy work.
