Anyone have any experience with the Trane smart thermostats? My A/C guy recommends them of course. But from what I researched, Honeywell makes Trane's thermostats and I can get the same version for $100 less

built recently and installed two trane variable speed units and had the nexia 950 home intelligence thermostat installed. It has been very good so far

Nest thermostats are great. Nest cam for surveillance is great.

Nest protect for smoke or CO2 is a piece of shite. Unless you like false alarms at 3 in the morning.

Nest. It hooks up with Wink and you can automate your entire house through Wink.

I installed an Ecobee3 about a month ago and have loved it so far. I live in a two story with the thermostat upstairs. Since we spend a lot of time downstairs, the ability to have the other sensor downstairs has been great. I've also set it up with the Life 360 app and IFTT so that as soon as the last person leaves the house, the thermostat cranks up to 82 degrees. It is also set up to come back on when my wife or I get within a certain distance to the house. I was able to pick it up on eBay for $180 new.
