Neighbors Upset over Mowing Lawn and Guns

Got the first mow of the year in yesterday with perfect weather. My neighbor called the cops because I was openly carrying a handgun while mowing the lawn. The cops came and explained to them it is legal to openly carry a handgun in TX with a LTC.
Today I came home to a letter taped to my door with a complaint for mowing my lawn too early (0700)(in their opinion not the laws). I called the neighbor to explain my suns up blades down policy and they were upset I was carrying a gun and it makes her feel unsafe. I'm feeling pretty good I've rustled the jimmies of some SJW proggy type.
Next weekend I may mow my yard with my AK-47 slung.

I hope by Openly Carry you mean it was holstered somewhere visible. Because if you're mowing your lawn and holding a gun at the same time I can see why they called the cops.

Who gives a shite if you mow your lawn with a gun strapped to you... but why would you? I mean what's the purpose of carrying a gun while you cut the grass? Is your penis so little that it makes you feel more manly?
And, your neighbor is right. 7 a.m. is too damn early for the lawn mower. Sounds like you and the lady with the obsession over Hubba Bubba's fence need to hook up.

Not that there is anything wrong with what you did but I feel like you are letting off the vibe of "I do it because it is my right" guy which may not be the best way to go about it with your neighbors. She may not have you on this one but you may be starting a pissing match so watch your arse.

From the time I put my clothes on in the morning until I put my pajamas on to go to bed at night I have atleast 1 usually 2 firearms on my person. I find it more comfortable to do yard work with an OWB holster so that's what I use. I'm not going to be a helpless victim of crime.
