Alexandria is probably the 3rd biggest shithole in the country, no doubt but 3rd most dangerous?

According to the OT, the fact I just typed the words Baton Rouge and didn't get shot is amazing. So this list must be wrong to not have it listed.

BTW, I would love just once to see one of these lists that excludes shootings and murders that involved two felons killing each other during a drug deal / narcotics fueled fight, etc. Not to be callous but those murders don't bother me too much.

Problem is these crimes aren't just felon vs felon. Lots of innocent people get drug into it. And there's also a crap ton of domestic violence that escalates to murder (or self defense in many cases) as well.

I would wager, 90%+ of those cities on the list are run by Democrats, and Democrat strongholds.

The crimes involving "innocent people" are the ones that concern me. I worry when taxpayers are getting killed. When two thug gang members shoot it out at 3am in the hood, not so much. TBH, the domestic violence murders (while had) also don't fit the "dangerous city" statistic either. A lovers killing is not indicative of crime levels. A husband shooting his wife in Haven, KS doesn't make that city dangerous even though a single murder in a town that size would probably put them top ten in these per capita lists. Which is why they are largely worthless.

Yea, that list is fake.

NO is the 32nd most dangerous city in the world.

The article says that the survey Is based off of the number of violent crimes per 1000 people as reported to fhe FBI. So who knows what some of these cities are reporting and what they aren't.

The city of Jackson can't manage to properly bill its citizens for water usage so I doubt they are up this task either.

And NOLA has been too busy getting rid of those pesky monuments...
