Need watch rec's

I'm trying to find a watch for my dad and have some specifics about what he wants. He wants a small face, nothing bigger than 40mm. Either fabric or leather band, he likes to switch it out every so often. And he likes a minimalist face: no date, Arabic or Roman numerals are acceptable but he'd rather just lines indicating hours.

He's mentioned stuff in the Invicta, Citizen, Seiko price ranges. One more thing, he wants it to be battery powered, not automatic.

Invicta ia garbage. Just a copy cat of high end watches.

What about a pilots watch?
This Laco is about $300 or so. But lots of people make variations. Some ideas in that flavor
Finding something simple + quartz is the difficult part. When manufacturers don't need to worry about power they put all sorts of goofy complications in there.
