Nice. I'm a journalism major. I just started working on fiction stuff. I understand about seeing some of the typical nosleep threads. I hate watching a really poorly written, cliche nosleep getting upvoted over well-written, original ones.

Exactly. The penpals thread was wonderful to me because it took awhile to unfold, but the author kept your attention the whole way.I hate clichéd characters and BS plots, but most of the no sleep threads are there.

The difference in true crime and horror is degree of immersion.

I'm on episode 7 of the Oregon house one and it feels like it's going off the rails. Conspiracy is getting to big to make sense even in fiction.

Yeah, it starts going that way at the end. You've just got to enjoy the beginning of it.
It's so hard to get the perfect ending

Yeah, I haven't payed attention to the site in the past few months until the other day when the thread was bumped.
Looks like he might have gotten a lot of help from a bunch of "friends."

Yeah, I just looked through his post history. He looks young. I bet it was his buddies who helped him.

I added some pictures to Art Imitates Death if anyone wants to check those out.
I'm going to release installment 4 Friday morning. I really can't wait til it comes out

Alright, I'm bumping this thread with some of the top-ranked NoSleep stories of all time.
World's Best School Psychologist
The story of her holding an orange
Just Another Night
Betsy the Doll
I hope my sister dies soon

Those were some good pictures, but need to doctor them up some in Photoshop to make them a lot more creepy

Thought about it, but it makes sense that they aren't as creepy since I went back months later to get the pictures.
