I remember reading a long time ago that there's no difference in the CEM and FEM. It's just something the factory did. Could be indicative of the market the watch is going to (Asia, USA, etc.), or even the factory it was produced in since some are made in Japan and others in China and Brazil (I think).
I've had two Makos, a Hogrider, and a CMT00001B and found them all to be fine watches

There is no difference. The only thing I found was the XL is 10mm thick where the other is 13mm but when you click specs on both it says they are both 13mm. I think they are the same exact watch.
