TDI autos can be slow. Depends. The 5 A/T is a POS. The 6 A/t is somewhat better.
TDI with M/T is much more responsive and fun to drive, as well as reliable.
Take that with a grain of salt though because I can hang with a Vette until 100

F250 with a Vette? Hang with? Does that mean you can still see his taillights by the time your truck hits 50 mph? Or do you mean a 1977 Corvette with 215 hp?

My XR400R can hang with Hyabusas. Ryan Villipoto and James Stewart are engaged in a bidding war to purchase it. I keep turning them down because it is so fast and because I can. Maybe when one of them antes up $100k, I'll consider letting it go.
You should see what my '82 F100 can do. Pullin' 4wd F250 powerstrokes and 2500HDs backwards all damn day, with a 2.73 dogleg rear end. You don't want to know what it could do with limited slip.
