NBC is certainly part of it. The primary factor is NASCAR needs sponsors. Without sponsorships the teams can't compete.

I would bet what Trump said offended less than 1% of NASCAR fans and probably made the other 99% get a good old fashioned American erection so why would sponsors give a shite?
