The one in city park is I think a banded water snake. Water snakes are the hardest for me to tell apart though as far as exact species though, so I could be wrong. Definitely a water snake though. Tggrdad could tell us.

Great shots. I saw this guy pull this huge bass out of the water right next to Cafe du Monde.

Not normal, but at the big bass rodeo a few weeks ago there was a 6.9 and a 7.7 weighed in.

Actually the bass in the photo was caught a few years ago. Could’ve actually exceeded the ones from the recent rodeo.
