Well I agree. I don't think we need Columbus Day as a holiday.

In exchange for corn and wheat Columbus gave the Indians the blueprints for the first casino so they should be thankful.

It is also HIGHLY unlikely that you have one drop of Indian blood in your system. I illustrated this years ago in a thread here but one again the ot defied the odds by a staggering margin. Not only are all ot'ers wealthy and strong they are also all part injun

So which is it? Is Christopher Columbus a dude that got lost or a dude that's on the same level of evil as Hitler? Liberalism is a disease.

Got to hand it to the native Americans. They pretty much took it worse than any minority in the country, but yet they just go about their business....other than the occasional posturing about football mascots of course.

Little does she know we have Cherokee in the family bloodline

Might want to check that DNA, Running Bear.

Why Do So Many Americans Think They Have Cherokee Blood? The history of a myth.

Why Do So Many People Claim They Have Cherokee In Their Blood?

quote:

Cher, Johnny Depp, Bill Clinton, Miley Cyrus, Johnny Cash, and Elizabeth Warren are all members of the not-so-elite tribe my would-be suitor belonged to — people who declare having Cherokee blood, but have no real way to back it up. Call it the tribe of the Wannabes, the Cherokee Syndrome, or a blood myth, but the number of Americans claiming to be one-sixteenth Cherokee or who “think” they “probably” had a great grandmother who was a Cherokee princess is a vastly growing group. Perhaps more rapidly growing than any Native American tribes on Earth, and that’s because there are no documents to prove the validity or invalidity of any of their claims.

Even Iron Eyes Cody (aka “The Crying Indian”from the litter commercial), perhaps the most famous Indian in modern times, was born in Louisiana from 100% Sicilian ancestry.

Lots of blacks also claim Cherokee blood. Emmitt Smith was one of them, but a DNA test for a TV show proved he was mistaken.
