If you were offered a job at each and pay/benefits were the same...
I have never been to south FL, and the demographics read like a rich retirement community, whereas the Woodlands was young and vibrant. Does anyone have any input about both, in a comparative manner? Thank you!

And would you leave LA for either?

Same job?

Naples and it's not even close. Love the water out there. There's plenty to do in Naples.

I would stay as far away from the woodlands as possible. The new exon plant is fricking up the traffic big time. It is also making it hard to find a place at a decent price.

Naples easily. I'd rather be on the Gulf in South Florida than 20 minutes from Houston.

Naples.

Problem is, you won't be able to afford it. Even the inland burbs are getting crazy.

Whats your occupation? How old are you? Male or female? Married with kids? What are your hobbies?

If you like to play golf and fish then Napels bc that's all there is to do there. However, it's only 2.5 hours away from Miami.

I would probably pick Napels.

You could probably talk Uncle Glassman to come to the Woodlands to fingerblast you again. South Fl may be too long of a haul for a little stinky finger

Exactly! I have no family/kids, and starting over in a place is scary enough. I am 33 and love having options, so I wasn't sure if Naples had things going on. Thanks for all of the input, I appreciate it! A large company is moving their HQ to the Naples/Estero area, so I imagine a lot of younger people will be there soon.

Woodlands probably, although I really like Naples. South Florida is awful, however, and I'm not sure the enclave of Naples would be enough.

Naples is one thing, Estero is another. Further down that way is much more doable.

Hardly. Never met Glass. SS must have his skanks confused. Damn, SS, I always liked you - why the baseless rumor?
