My Son is having surgery today

He fell and broke his nose at school and is having facial reconstruction surgery today. I'm a nervous wreck and would appreceate those of the praying inclination to say one for my little buddy.

But good luck to him! I would be nervous as hell if I was in your situation too. 99.9% chance all goes well but it's still surgery regardless. Good luck to you, him, and the rest of your family.

He's 13. We are sitting her in pre op while they do the pre surgery checks. The folks at Children's her in Bham are top notch so I know he's in good hands. It's not a very complicated procedure either so that's a bit of a relief.

You know the drill. Just don't show how nervous you are and spoil him afterwards.

Thanks, my only worry is the anesthesia. There's aways a little bit of risk there that worries me.
