I bring my 8th grade squad on the road to take on a team with a solid big and a solid guard.

We're legitimately 8-9 deep. Two solid, solid guards, two good bigs, and a 6'1 kid who is fluid and can move. Needs to get a little more dog in him, but he's still in the colt stage of his growth spurt and is still figuring it all out.

Run a zone. Get your two bigs to collapse down on their big, and he's out of the picture. Alternate your two guards guarding their guard. Box and 1. On to the next.

Yep. They only have one competent guard, so we're gonna press and trap the shite out of them and then sit in a 2-3. Saving the box and one until we need it so the other coach won't have much time to diagram against it.
