Since most things observable can be created, wouldn't it make it possible for us to create black holes and if we did wouldn't it be the end of our civilization the moment the first person were to do so?

We already created a black hole, its called health insurance premiums.

Black holes can be observed?

We need to get started on a Death Star.

Are you posting from the other side of a bookcase?

I thought Black Holes were for purchase, not creation

Black holes can't be observable. Why? because we're in the spirit world a-hole, they can't see us.

Aren't black holes just extremely large and dense "balls" of matter that have such a high gravitational pull that everything within their range gets sucked to it and compressed? Like a giant magnet basically

Yes
Particle accelerators will doom us all
Particle accelerators will doom us all

Speaking of black holes, what happened to that Destany thread?

Disagree. I've observed LSU beat Alabama and win a national championship. I do not believe these things can ever be created again.

What kinda shitty logic is this?

No. A black hole is just something so dense that the escape velocity is greater than the speed of light.
Theoretically a black hole can be smaller than the head of a pin. One that size wouldn't be able to do much damage.

You could replace the sun with a black hole of same mass and nothing would change. Granted it would get dark and really cold, but the orbit of the planets would remain exactly the same. A black hole is not some unstoppable vacuum cleaner.

Where the frick did you get this from?

A black hole is just an incredibly dense object. If you were to create a micro black hole it wouldn't just all of a sudden suck everything into and destroy everything. It would only have the mass of whatever you used to create it. It would just be very dense.

We all ready create black holes by smashing particles together. They're incredibly small and evaporate almost immediately.
