Put RBI Baseball/Tecmo Bowl in there and I'm an annual pass holder.
The greatest sports games ever made.
Kid Icarus would make a cool landscape

I can respect this man. For him, sex is an afterthought.

Don't think it's really worthy. Only has 2 games which are ridiculously far apart. All the others have at least 7 games.

Only took about 30 minutes to come up with this.

Give me Original MarioKart all day!!!

For your next write up you should overanalyze the Home Alone films.

One thing I would like to see is a star fox game that is also a ride. It would be like a typical simulator, but it's only a one-seater. The simulator would mimic your movements in the game (it rolls left when you go left, tilts up when you go up, vibrates when you get hit, ect). You would play the game in cockpit mode, while you sit IN THE COCKPIT!!!. That would be the most epic arcade game ever.

Put it in Houston and I'd be there every weekend with my kid(s).
And I really want to play some Mario now.

Would you not pay serious cash to go to this park?
...No

I think it's more impressive and interactive than anything at Disney.
Key phrase is key...
Disney already has Disney Quest and some really interactive attractions in Epcot.
Just b/c this idea is based on Nostalgic games doesn't mean I'd be buying.
Also.. Disney as a company can certainly one up whatever another amusement park throws at them

These days, Epcot is the park I like the most, but that shite was boring to me as a kid. I don't see how any of the stuff I posted would be boring to kid-me.

Well, maybe it's not targeted at you.

No way could they top the Pokemon idea. That takes investment outside of the park, and investment people enjoy.

Thus why they've added to this park..

You're right it's demographic is very clear.. Even though I'm a child of the 80's and I've owned every Nintendo product released. It still will be a harder sell.

... I seriously hope you're not this naïve.

Name the Disney franchise that could do what I'm talking about here. I don't think any other franchise could emulate what I'm proposing with the Pokemon world.

They won't need one.. B/c that proposal is entirely to complicated and cumbersome to actually work within a theme park setting...
I understand your inner nerd yearns for something like this.. But like a said before ..What you proposed targets a very small and specific demographic. It's not very viable.
But, if something like that were to ever happen.. Don't think for a minute Disney couldn't only compete, but win that battle... There's a reason WDW is #1 theme park attendance and that won't change.. B/c it's what they do and why everyone tries to emulate them..
The Hub and spokes park design you can thank Disney for...

Wait, what? How is this a narrow demographic? It's the second biggest gaming franchise in the world. And even if people don't wish to do Pokemon, there is tons of other things in the park that I don't think you'd find anywhere else.

I'm not going to pretend it would top Disney as far as attendance is concerned (especially since it's only one park compared to 4), since games tend to appeal more to boys than girls. But I would say it could certainly give Disney a run for its money, especially since I would want the park to be targeted just as much to older people than young ones. If Legoland can work, Nintendoland certainly could. Next to Disney, Nintendo certainly has the most visually recognizable characters in the world (although I will take DC as a possibility simply for Superman and Batman).
