Here's your attention you crave.

A good friend of mine is facing a pretty serious issue at work. His name is Austin and he works at Baskin Robbins (Home of 31 Flavors). Austin is 25 years old and is a bit of a character, although he is an extremely loyal friend. He currently lives with his parents and spends, what is probably, too much time playing video games and watching anime.

Nevertheless, Austin got a job at BR in order to earn a little extra spending money (to purchase said video games) while he finishes up his General Studies degree from the local community college. He has always enjoyed working at 31 Flavors, as the work is not too difficult, and he gets free ice cream whenever he wants it. Recently, the staff added a new employee, Randall, to the fold and so began Austin's woes at work. Austin first described Randall to me as a, "squeaky clean little douche bag" who was always "eager to kiss someone's arse", but this description did not last for very long.

Apparently, Randall is a very good worker (on the surface at least) and is very motivated to do a good job, as he wants to purchase a vehicle, so he can "scope out some babes". However, when I picked Austin up from work the other night (he is currently without license due to a bogus marijuana charge) I could tell he was very upset. I asked him what was wrong, and he proceeded to tell me about what took place during his shift. He stated that the new guy, Randall, was in charge of the cash register tonight and that when it was time to count the drawer he started acting super sketchy.

According to Austin, Randall kept trying to find excuses to get the other employees (Char'Kethia and himself) away from the front. Char'Kethia ended up going to the back to change clothes for the gym and Austin noticed that for some reason this seemed to satisfy Randall. Which is odd to say the least. Austin suspected that Randall would "come up short" once the drawer was counted, but to his surprise he balanced perfectly. Then, as Char'Kethia bolted out the door without completing the rest of her duties (which is typical of her, as she frequently boasts that she "dindu nothing" during her shift), Randall volunteered to close up and urged Austin to "go ahead and enjoy your night".

Austin refused as he was the only employee there with a lock code. He could tell that this upset Randall, but after hanging around for a few minutes, Randall went ahead and left. Austin began doing his nightly checks and as he walked through the store turning off lights, he noticed something odd in the employee dressing room. Right before he flipped the light switch off he happened to glance up, and there in the ceiling tile was a small circular cutout. Austin found this very odd and climbed up on the bench to get a better look and that is when he saw it!

There hidden in the ceiling tile was a small camera with a memory card attached. At that moment, Austin realized why Randall had been acting so weird. He wanted Char'Kethia to go change so that he could record her in the nude! Then, he wanted Austin to leave early so he could close up and recover his camera. Austin was sick. The thought of an employee doing something like this was disgusting to him. This is why Austin was so distraught when I picked him up.

Now, he is at crossroads and is unsure of what to do. Should he confront Randall? Take the issue to management? Or destroy the camera and not mention the incident to anyone? We watched the video when we got back to Austin's parents house, and Char'Kethia is definitely on there along with a girl and GUY from a previous shift. This is a delicate issue and I don't know what to tell Austin. Please help.
