I have had a lab for 15 years. I know about the chewing.

Redfish is a duck hunter with a wiener dog. He needs a lab

Most definitely. Bonus scenario is the lab eats the wiener dog.

There are two main genes controlling coat color in labs. Because it appears all pups are black (unless I'm not seeing a brown) I think we can assume the male was not chocolate. He was either all dominant genes for black hair and black skin (homozygous) or still appeared black but was mixed dominance (heterozygous).

If the latter is true then for this bitch to have all black pups means that she, as a yellow lab, would have to have a black nose and black tinted skin. Kinda looks like her nose is black in the 2nd pic but can't make it out for sure.

Would make most sense to me if this black nosed bitch was mated with an all dominant gene (for coat color anyway) black male.

The father was black. Literally and metaphorically. Knocked that bitch up and rolled out.

Correct. Yellow and Black are both the dominant gene.

Chocolate is the homozygous recessive.

Those puppies will have puppies that are either black or yellow as well.

The puppies' grandchildren will be the first to have the possibility of a chocolate. Depending on the sire/bitch.
