To compare responses you need similar things they are responding to. The comment was 'if on Texas campus' - so it's a hypothetical for the same situation taking place on a Texas campus. The Va Tech shooter and every other shooter except Whitman went after victims, in buildings, in close proximity with direct confrontation. Virtually every death in every shooting was at extremely close range. If memory serves me correctly, almost all deaths were head shots or point blank upper torso.
The Va Tech shooter did not trap anyone. They all barricaded and hunkered down in their classrooms or jumped from windows because they weren't going to go out in the hallway. Since the faculty blew off his note about the chains and a bomb linked to them, and didn't call 911, the entry point manipulation was a non-factor. He went about walking up and shooting people for a while and then killed himself.

1. OSU isn't like the local community college. Who wants to bet the snowflakes in the administration and faculty admitted this guy for diversity / kindness / muslim outreach etc, and not because he was busting the curve in honors calculus?
2. Not a refugee, but an Islamic terrorist.
3. We'll be told Islam is peaceful and that he wanted to spread a peaceful message.
4. When it's revealed he was "radicalized" and that he never belonged on OSU's campus to begin with, not one member of the snowflake administration will step forward to acknowledge their foolishness and reckless disregard for American lives.

Unrelated but I spent time in Somalia with the Marine Corps and they were some of the kindest and most selfless people I've ever met. This was a religious thing and just a shame he's marring the Somali people's names.
He's ruining all of the people from Somalia who are true refugees fleeing warlords and rampant crime who would come here and do nothing but be good American tax payers and get to carve out their slice of the American Dream.

Question, didn't I read earlier in the thread that someone pulled the fire alarm, causing the building to empty, giving the driver easy access to run over people? Who pulled the alarm? Wouldn't that person have to be involved?

I think the fire department came out and checked out the building. The attack came as students were being given the ok to go back in. If that is the case he would have plenty of time to go get in the car.
