mRNA Vaccines Can Be Quickly Adjusted to Account for New Variants. Not So Fast My Friend!

Remember when we were told how the mRNA vaccines could be quickly updated basically in real time to account for new variants. I member.
Moderna Inc Chief Executive Stéphane Bancel had this to say on that idea.
At this point, none of this is about healthcare and or safety. It’s about control and profits. If you’ve never been exposed to Covid and you are generally unhealthy then you may be in for a rough ride.

This whole control narrative is cute. I get being against the vaccine and even questioning everything going on, but this point has got to go. Can you drive a car without a license? Registration? Can you turn left at a red stop light? Pick the speed at which you drive?
And that’s just a small portion of control dealing strictly with a vehicle.

If you don’t want the vaccine that’s fine. Why do you idiots have to come on here and make 30 new threads about it every day?
The vaccine is beneficial to some people. Why do you have to constantly criticize it?

The changes would be for the next season. There were many on here saying that changes could quickly be made to adjust for new variants. This is just going to be like the Flu shot where the next round will just be the variants that were common the year before.
To be clear, I think the vaccine is great. I just think it is ludicrous that we are
1. Forcing people to take it indiscriminately (Businesses w/greater than 100 people yes. Migrants and Medicaid recipients No)
2. Pushing it on young people who are of no risk

Just be honest that there was no timeline that would make you happy on this. Pfizer tried to get the booster approved for the masses and y’all said “they are already admitting it doesn’t work and less than 6 months want another bit of profit”

Sounds like they can adjust the vaccine quickly. But the regulatory and approval process can’t move fast enough to keep up with the new variants.

Doesn’t mean I am being forced to do something I don’t want. I could sit on my arse and not do anything. Or I could find a job at a smaller company that doesn’t care about vaccines.

You knew those conditions before you took the job and before you enrolled at LSU, correct?
Any logical person isn't comparing getting up at 7 AM to a vaccine mandate.
