So aggravating that people walk in 5 minutes before the show and walk up to the top looking for seats - nobody wants your arse in their face while you slackjaw scan the rows of the good seats in disbelief that other people got there first. Get your arse to the front - gotta put in the work to get the payoff. Enjoy the crick in your neck.

Go to Movie Tavern. Seats are assigned when purchased.

Could be worse, you could be this poor guy (and poor kid):

They need to do random checks and have a police officer present and post it, if you are in a theater in which you don't possess a ticket they need to arrest your arse for theft

We went to Covington's movie tavern. Assigned seating as you mentioned. Got there late due to a wreck. Started at 6:10 Friday, walked in at 6:02. Someone was in our seats. We told them those were ours and they got pissy. Young teenaged guys. I told them sorry but get out our seats. Asked what seats they had to help them and they wouldn't show me. Apparently two of their friends had tickets for this showing and they had it for another showing. I laughed at them and told them they were stupid for trying this at an assigned seating theater opening day of Star Wars.

Went and saw the movie today at Elmwood. No trouble with the seating but the movie fricking sucked.
