he said several riders, including him, would get shite-faced before the race...it was the only way to muster up the courage.

That might explain why they are averaging about 2 deaths every year.

They'd bumping 200 MPH so you'd still be going about 100 MPH. Still want to try it?

It's all technique and trust. Throttle control, apex picking, etc.

I took the Keith Code school a while back and it taught me a ton. If you ever wanted to get a sport bike...gotta take a cornering class.

do they have special cut outs on their seats so their balls can fit. If not I dont know how they fit on the bike

Did you really just copy and paste the top rated comment on the video and try to pass it off?

I'm too old for that. I'll stick to cruising along on my Electra, thank you very much.

Really? Do you have a link? I'm not asking to be a dick or call you a liar or anything. I just genuinely want to read how he made it through that.

Now that I think about it, probably isn't a good idea to trust YouTube comments. But a few comments said he survived.

ETA: His name is Conor Cummins

What bike do you ride? I ride a Honda CBR 1100 XX blackbird. Isn't much of a sports bike it's kind of heavy.

Auto Racing was like that in the '50s-'70s before they made a lot of safety reforms. Formula One lost 41 drivers between 1953 and 1978.
