Westminster/Pine Park is a great location. Seriously needs some gentrification (especially Westminster).

Live in siegen/perkins area and love it. Easy access to I10 and pretty much anywhere in the city

The area depends on what type of crime you want to be a victim of. If you want your vehicle burglarized regularly, you would want to be near LSU. If you want to be shot and robbed, north Baton Rouge would be your place to go. Broadmoor area is a hit and miss on all types of crimes. It really depends on what type of victim you choose to be.

Westminster/Pine Park and Jefferson Terrace are in the perfect location BUT about 60-70% of it is in a flood zone so you will need flood insurance in most houses.
