More than 33.8 million vehicles recalled for defective air bags

We're in Louisiana - those things should be going off like atom bombs with our humidity.

tell your dealer you want a rental until it's fixed. Honda paid Enterprise for mine

Is this the one where the air bags were exploding and the pieces were hitting people in the neck, causing them to bleed out?

Did you get a letter in the mail or found out on your own? As the article says, not all vehicles that need new airbags will show in the VIN yet.

The bulk of cars affected are 2001-2007---so no one on the O-T will have autos on the recall list
