I wish I had been banned from my graduation. It was a waste of time.

No. That's the point of the CODE OF CONDUCT. That there is a code that governs their conduct. They're seniors; I would expect them to know better.

It's not like they have to repeat the year; they just don't get to have their name called and to walk across a stage. It's not a horrible loss. I'm sure they've already paid for the crap; just stage some pictures and and the mother will save HOURS of time.

Also, she should be thankful that there wasn't a school resource officer with an itchy trigger finger.

I wonder how many kids she has

Her skank arse on the other hand will get to enjoy watching her 4 other kids walk.

So they still get their diploma but don't get to walk? Big f-n deal.

Reminds me of a senior "prank" at my high school. These guys found an abandoned boat on the side of the interstate, and thought it would be funny to park it in front of the school entrance in the middle of the night.

After parking it, they decided it wasn't enough, and proceeded to light the boat on FIRE. The fire spread to the school building. All involved were expelled.

At my HS, someone brought in a backpack full of mice/mouses. maybe 30+.

he let them out right after the 1st period, in the area where kids transit the most between classes.

it was hilarious. especially to see the freshmen girls screaming like all hell broke out.

My friend pick up a mouse and tossed it at someone. the police gave him an animal cruelty ticket.

today, that school is probably infested with rodents. haha

I have no problem with this.

You come into the school wearing all black clothes weilding fake guns and some with ski masks....yea you deserve not to walk for graduation. You're probably lucky the school doesn't press charges.

What exactly do the upset parents think would be a proper punishment? There is nothing else you can use to punish these kids. They have already completed classes and exams. If you can't hold the graduation ceremony over them then they are free to do ANYTHING they want after their grades are finalized.

We had kids at our school completely vandalize the gym this year and I still can't believe those kids were allowed to take part in graduation. It has set a horrible precedent and I expect future senior pranks to continue to escalate since the kids know there is no punishment.

On Thursday, more than two dozen students entered the school wearing all black and wielding water guns and water balloons. Some even had on masks.

How they thought that would turn out okay is beyond me.

We let penned goats into a fenced courtyard and spray painted a dirt mound in front of the gym. No one even tried to figure out who did it.

Smith thinks school leaders should have done more to stop or prevent the prank.

How about you, the fricking parent, do more to teach your kid not to be a fricking a-hole? Its amazing how many people rely on the extremely shitty school systems to raise their kids for them.

Of course, don't blame your daughter, who took part in such a dumbass thing, which in today's world shouldn't be considered/thought of as a prank. Don't blame the other kids who your daughter did this with. But, let's blame the school, who had no idea they'd do something so stupid.

Sure, most schools know about senior pranks and all that, and they allow it to happen. However, this wasn't a friendly, playful prank. This was just fricking stupid.

Blame your dumbass daughter and her dumbass friends, dumbass.

News article fails without saying if these were look like guns water guns or super soaker water guns or brightly colored waterguns.

So no reason to get outraged.

Do the right thing, make these kids clean grounds until g-day. Then decide if they walk or not if they did their penance.

Everybody is pushed through and graduates high school now. It has lessened the accomplishment. Woopity-doo... you miss your high school graduation for doing something stupid... sorry that this is the pinnacle of your life...

Apparently realistic enough to give panic attacks.

So what I'm getting here is that it was the black clothes that did them in.

Otherwise it's just a harmless water balloon ambush.

Damn tactical attire gets you every time.

I member when you couldn't wear a trench coat within a mile of a school, and that was when long black leather coats were in. Brothers were pissed.

I do agree that some punishment should be taken, but I think that them not being allowed to walk is far too harsh

She's lucky there's no criminal charges involved with a bunch of kids dressed in all black and wearing masks to stage a fake school shooting.

Graduating high school isn't some huge accomplishment, unless the kid is the first one to graduate from high school in the family.

Were they big red and orange and pink water guns? Or realistic looking water guns?

That is a HUGE difference.

That means they had panic attacks. Doesn't describe the waterguns or why they had it. People melt for no reason, go look at poli board for how easy it happens.

Exactly! Most high schools have armed cops at the school all day in case something like this happens for real. It wouldn't have been a very fun prank had a cop opened fire on their stupid asses thinking they had real guns.
