More layoffs coming to Times-Picayune/NOLA.com

Three or four years ago, my ex used to send the TP their own articles with her properly pointed out errors. She was looking/applying for a job as an editor, so it was pretty clever. They not only never offered her a job, but they never even responded or bothered to fix their posts. Good riddance, I say.

I may finally cancel, and it really pains me because I've grown up with that paper and love it, but it's gone downhill and fast. The sports section used to be great and they've even ruined that. The only thing I like now better is the outdoors section, Masson is a giant upgrade over that douchebag bob Marshall.

Why doesn't the Advocate just buy the TP name and trademarks and start flying their paper there under that banner? If John Georges waits long enough, there will be a fire sale.
The TP as anyone knows it is completely finished. How anyone can subscribe to it at all at this point baffles me. What's the point?
