Yeah when I was young they had tractor pulls, quads, demo derby. and all kinds of things. It was like 4-5 hours.

Now it's just the trucks.

And half of the trucks are too timid to break anything, and do nothing. I really want a refund it was so bad.

$9.25 for a 16 ounce aluminum can of beer did me in. I have money to pay for them, but it chaps my arse to see what they've done to the working fan.

$14 for a paper boat of nachos that may cost a dollar to produce.
$4.50 for a bottle of water.
$7 for a small scoop of dipping dots.

frick the Superdome and their prices to produce a perenial 7-9 football team.

Yeah and 15 for goddamn cotton candy. Eventually people will stop going if this continues. They cut out everything but the monster trucks and even they didn't seem to be as good as they usually are.

We went. i feel the same as most. The superdome prices are ridiculous. The monster jam souvenir prices are ridiculous.

only one vehicle attempted the back flip. Grave Digger did and he landed it. it's crazy they built that obstacle and only one vehicle even used it.

I went for the first time since the early 1980s when there was Bigfoot and maybe one other monster truck. What were you expecting to see? It was basically monster truck races and some jump type competitions. My ten year old enjoyed it and that's it.

If you're crying about concession prices, don't buy concessions. It's also obvious you haven't been in a big arena in years because those are the sorts of prices you see everywhere for at least the last 15 years, not just the Superdome.

So you want a guy to risk his safety by jumping 20 cars in front of a couple thousand people (who only paid $5-20 a ticket) in Baton Rouge?

Guess it's one of those "you get what you paid for" deals.

You could have gone to any honky tonk bar around the LP/Tangi border and seen this shite for free - of course the rebel flags sometimes send the wrong message

Monster jam was cool when they'd wreck school buses and RVs with the trucks. That was early 2000s probably

They already explained that. They wanted to see the monster truck show they are used to seeing. Not 30% of it.

I told the guy beside me this same thing right before Avenger came out for his freestyle run. The only thing I was thinking was that several of the trucks were damaged and did not finish their runs. Regardless, a shite load of work was put into that obstacle for one single back flip attempt.
