You can't be a heel like character if you're revolting against the evil authority figure. An antihero maybe. But the booing is a result of the obvious push right down our throats that he's been getting since before last year's Royal Rumble.

I think they could maybe salvage it by having him go full heel at Mania, since he's getting heel heat anyway. Have him cheat to win the strap, maybe by pulling the HHH move and getting the sledgehammer from under the ring.
