I posted about this a few weeks ago when they thought the enrollment numbers looked bad. Now that the stats have been compiled, it is worse than they thought.

Two residence halls closed, library hours and staff reduced 315 students have no lodging 50 cleaning and maintenance jobs gone Tenured faculty have to take out own trash; cleaners face unemployment Some wonder if Mizzou will survive After raucous protests last fall, the University of Missouri has “a dark cloud hanging over the institution—we can’t sugarcoat that,” vice chancellor of operations Gary Ward told faculty this week. The university’s grave outlook became clearer Monday, as the data rolled in on freshman enrollment for the Fall 2016 semester, showing steep declines
.Compared to last year, 1,470 fewer students had paid their $300 enrollment fees by the May 1 deadline—and with cancellations rolling in over the weekend, the numbers may be even more grim, the local TV station KMIZ reports. That’s a drop of about 25% from last year’s freshman class of about 6,200.
Mizzou also reported a three-year low in grad-school applications, down 1,140 from two years ago. The number of new students shrunk even as the university has embarked on an aggressive effort to drum up interest in the school, using text messages and Skype and deploying more out-of-state recruiters.

maybe next time they'll answer the SJW's with NO. And end it there.

looks like the silent majority of normal students dont want to be in the same school as the crazy hippies.

How soon can they be kicked out of the SEC?

Meh, I'm not going to get mad at the SJWs because they aren't the ones who capitulated.
I just enjoy the free market doing its thing.

The article doesn't mention it but athletic donations were down 72 percent as well.

Hopefully we can kick them out of the SEC soon. Who do we look at to replace them?

I agree, which is why getting up in arms about things like the Target bathroom stuff cracks me up. If Target is going against the desires of the mainstream, AND it is important enough for the mainstream to take a stand, it will all settle out in the end. I have a sneaky suspicion the numbers there won't drop enough to warrant a change in policy, which reflects the general public's apathy over many of these issues.
Things like the Mizzou enrollment numbers are how you can separate real outrage from faux outrage.
