Mitch Landrieu's son

Since Mitch is so determined to dredge up history on statues from hundreds of years ago, lets take a stroll down memory lane for Mitch's flesh and blood son.
So it seems Mitch's son is no angel either and daddy has been there to pick him up, cover his crimes, and get charges reduced when he had his majorly drunken incident a few years ago.
He was underage drinking, way over the limit, caused damage to multiple vehicles and yet was not handcuffed in his perp walk, was initially given majorly reduced charges and was bailed out before his buzz even wore off. He also took a mugshot that shows he is apparently not remorseful or ashamed.
They say Quarter Moon is a jovial drunk
LINK
He was initially only booked with reckless driving. BUT "Landrieu's blood-alcohol content at the time of his arrest was .124. The legal limit for people older than 21 is 0.08 and for people younger than 21 it is 0.02. Minors found guilty are fined between $100 and $250 and must participate in a court-approved substance abuse and driver improvement program. However, if they record a blood-alcohol percentage greater than 0.08, they are charged the same as an adult."
But the lil darlin was allowed to plead guilty to reckless driving and paid a fine of $334 as if he were a child who blew a BAC less than .08.

People like to claim that cops are crooked, and they are. However, the most crooked group alive is politicians. We have some serious problems in this country with power people taking advantage of the position they are in. From the top of politics all the way down to the police.

Oh and this lil tidbit called "‘Enemy for life’: Mayor Mitch Landrieu accused of steamrolling those who disagree with him" LINK
Yeah, I'm on a roll tonight after Mitch the B*tch.

Screw the Landrieu's! All they've done is frick up LA and New Orleans.

It sounds like your beef is with Leon Cannizaro to me.
Mitch is a pandering piece of shite and his son, Ben, can't handle his buzz, but I believe the charge reduction had to happen at the DA's office.

I know a few people who got the same treatment and they aren't the mayor's son, FWIW. It just depends on how much you pay for your lawyer.

That family may have done more damage than the morials. At least their damage was pretty much quarantined to the local area.

I can vouch for this. Some people can't handle being in a position of authority.

This.
That kind of stuff happens literally every Wednesday at the 19th JDC.

You should really not post after your nightly doses of Xanax and oxycodone... You give pill heads a bad rep.
Not sure what you're trying to report here......

Never met Mitch, but his brother Martin is a tool of the first order.

Moon, Mary, Mitch I agree with. But not all of them are bad. Just the politicians.

I don't like Mitch very much either, but why don't you take a look at the DA's office before you call Mitch and Ben out. Ben and many others who have gotten DUI's have gotten the same deal. Why should Ben not get the deal an everyday Joe gets who has a decent lawyer? I think you need to do some research before you call someone out.

From the video of Quarter Moon doing his perp walk, he looks like Mitch has done the same quality job of raising him as Aunt Mary did in her Senate career.

...and St. Tammany Parish. It was a great place to be until Moon ran all of the white folks out of New Orleans.

This sort of thing is pretty common with connected people. I dated a girl years ago whose brother had a DUI. Their grandpa, a judge, swooped in to keep it off his record. Now, he did have to work his arse off for grandpa after. Regardless, having connections can have its privileges.
