Why do cops get away with crimes that would land the general public a lengthy jail sentence?

And? Nowhere has anybody said she won't be charged.

You know this how?

I'm not saying she shouldn't be charged, in fact I think she should be, but you're jumping the gun with your internet outrage.

Manslaughter or bust. Police need to be held accountable as the general public would be.

I would go a step further and say police need have harsher punishments than regular citizens

Rumor is she was investigated for ..... leaving the same child in a car alone before.

Unconfirmed but that's the word on these streets.

How is this even possible? Did they not jump in the car and drive the baby top the hospital? Perhaps this was intentional.....

quote:

Investigators noted all the windows in her squad car were rolled up, and a large blanket sat next to the child’s car seat on the rear passenger side. Deputies noticed the air conditioner halfway between cold and hot. It was cool that morning.

Did she cover her with a blanket and turn the heat on? Maybe it was intentional.

The mom and her daughter were at a birthday party I attended in July. The woman seemed really off but I found out her dad had died like the day before so I figured that was why she was so strange. I was swimming and the little girl can swimming up to people wanting to be held and then she wouldn't let go. She kept going back and forth to me and my sister in law. She would put her arms around my neck and wouldn't let go no matter where I want. Just the sweetest little thing in the world. Breaks my freaking heart man, such a sweet innocent child who did nothing wrong.

And promptly bailed herself out on $50,000 bond.

There's a distinct possibility she never sees a day in prison.

Except a NASA employer here is unlikely to face any charges, hell they didn't even release a name or gender. Maybe they are likes cops who are entitled and don't fall under general public though.

When have you ever seen a police car not running? Seems like she could have left the AC on for the kid.
